"Untrue, malicious and highly defamatory postings concerning the U.K.- based John Metcalfe Publishing Trust
and Mr. Metcalfe continue to appear on a page hosted on the Archive.org website, registered in California, U.S.A..
Requests have been made of those responsible for the Archive.org website to remove access to the anonymous postings - the falsity of the postings having been clearly pointed out to them. However, those requests have been ignored and the postings remain on the website.
It is regrettable in the extreme that those behind the Archive.org website feel able to act in such a manner, apparently without responsibility or regard for the truth.
The same false postings - taken directly from the Archive.org website - have appeared on several other websites. This shows how these calumnies have spread, although unlike Archive.org those other websites have voluntarily removed the postings when their falsity has been pointed out."
